About Swoopd

Swoopd helps New Zealand tradies win more work by making sure no job is lost to a missed call.

Why we built Swoopd

Tradies win most of their work over the phone. But when you are up a ladder, under a house or halfway through a job, you cannot always answer. That missed call does not wait. Most callers will not leave a voicemail. They ring the next tradie on the list, and the job is gone before you have even seen the number.

We built Swoopd because that is an unfair way to lose good work. A tradie should not have to choose between the job in front of them and the phone ringing for the next one. So we made something that replies for you. The moment you miss a call, Swoopd texts the caller back on WhatsApp, has a real conversation to work out what they need, and books the job into your calendar. You stay on the tools. The lead stays warm.

Our mission

To make sure no tradie loses a job to a missed call. Every missed call should turn into a booked job, not a lost customer, without you having to stop what you are doing.

Our vision

A trade business that runs itself in the background. Calls answered, jobs booked, customers kept in the loop and invoices sorted, so tradies can spend the day on the work they are good at and their evenings away from admin. We are starting with missed calls in New Zealand and building towards the full loop, from first call to paid invoice.

What Swoopd does

Swoopd works alongside your existing mobile number. There is no new phone, no second SIM and no hardware to install.

Swoopd is live across New Zealand now. Australia is on the roadmap. If you are an Australian tradie, email hello@swoopd.io to register your interest and we will let you know when it opens.
